Canada is really not much better. Our political system is slightly less broken, and we have slightly better social welfare systems. Otherwise, our people are just as garbage.

As someone also living in Canada, in a town where a woman was intentionally hit by a trailer hitch thrown from a vehicle because she was walking while Indigenous, I unfortunately am disgusted but not surprised. This isn’t just a Trump problem.

I also missed the moment in time where the game ‘seemed promising.’ I remember cringing at the initial announcement, being cautiously interested in the trailer while remembering that E3 demos are mostly bullshot and then... well, and then.

I always tell people Mass Effect: Andromeda’s only real problem is that it’s a great 30 hour game that takes 80 hours to play.  

Back when I was in school, we had an assembly near the end of the year where any teachers/faculty that were leaving would be honored and we’d all clap and such. It was always bittersweet when a teacher everyone loved had to leave for whatever reason, but word had circulated that these teachers were laid off for budget…
