You are correct that it allows more flow where if you had 2 lanes at snails pace vs 3 lanes at snails pace the 3 lanes will flow marginally more, but wrong in that it helps ease traffic.

I did the same buying a BBQ, top down, stick it in the passenger seat and went on the highway.

It does work, we had a Mini Cooper and a NC Miata as our two cars for awhile and it was enough car for 99% of the time.

The drivetrain was actually different. They did put a “test” version of the Skyactiv engine in the final 2 years of the smiley face, but otherwise it’s a new drivetrain in the gen3 that’s still being used today.  The Gen 2 smiley used a drivetrain that was shared with Ford.

I’m not a fan of the design, but the G80 is definitely unique and in no way reminds me of a A7.

Shifting with my left isn’t a big deal. The biggest one is the signals and wipers being flipped.

I still really like the 300 and Challenger, and they’ve kept the interior updated. The exterior design has aged really well imo.

Maybe the Equinox(rental) just has a shitty shifter(and it does) but I quite prefer the bouncy BMW stick over the traditional PRNDL shifter than the Equinox has.

That’s more than any other common vehicle.  I wouldn’t call 15k underrated for an old warm econobox.

I don’t think the B13 SE-R is underrated. It’s died down since it’s now old and hard to find, but they had a good following.
