I think after Pentax made their first few awfully-designed cameras, the designers just said "screw it, we're relying on shock factor."

@bloknayrb: I agree. I didn't like the look of it at first, but once I used one I found it absolutely necessary.

I can't stand it when people change the channel during commercials. It's only a few minutes, and I'd rather sit through commercials than miss part of the show I'm currently watching.

@the_amazing_doug: I thought about that a great deal when I had the idea, and you're definitely right that it will add memory to the cable. However, in this case it's slightly beneficial since the cable will mold to the container shape over time for easier coiling.

I used the same time limit idea when I went two years without soft drinks. It's not really a food diet, but cutting liquid calories really helps. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with diabetes the third year, so ironically I had to drink more sugary drinks to stabilize my sugar levels.

Lifehacker, you have read my mind once again. I just got my debit card in the mail yesterday, and the woman at the bank made sure I knew that overdrawing was BAD. The contract basically said I owe them an appendage every week that I am in the negatives.

@Tuowtraws: Oh, when I said "this does NOT work for you guys" I was referring to my tip, which was clicking the volume icon and dragging up/down without letting go.

@SMoss20: If you use Mac OS X or iOS, their App Stores make it extremely easy to produce and market applications. The developer tools and documentation are very helpful as well.

@Tuowtraws: Really? Whenever I click and drag my volume icon it tries to rearrange it. Am I doing something wrong?

@comicmonkey: Epic. It's harder to get stuck in my head though since it's acoustic.

My favorite thing about the volume slider is that you can click and hold from the menubar to change it. As in, you don't have to click, then click and drag again.

Happy to see that it includes carbohydrates is well. I have diabetes and count carbs (albeit quite lazily lately), so this will help a great deal.

@WickedD365: Exactly. I'm following about 100 people and most of them don't actually post what they're doing .

Now playing

A boombox can change the world, but you gotta know your limits with a boombox.

@wr3ktless: Yeah, I'm an idiot, haha. I misread the question.

@rxe7en: I think AT&T might be able to save themselves if they do something like that. Verizon's plan pricing hasn't been released yet, and for all we know, some people might not want to make the price jump for added stability.

@Lassus: @Lassus: Same here. My parents and I have been using it since before then and I've only had 2 or 3 dropped calls.

@wr3ktless: Not everyone has problems with AT&T's network. I live in SC and I've never talked to anyone who has had multiple dropped calls.

I've never had problems with AT&T's network, so I'll stick with AT&T.
