Companies protect their IPs. It’s the way business works. You really think Blizzard should be expected to let their IP just sit out there for a group of totally unaffiliated people who have to answer to no one do with whatever they want? It’s absurd to think that that’s reasonable.

I think there’s a lot more going on behind subscriber numbers than you or even I think and I don’t think it could be so easily chalked up to “lol, wow sucks now bring back old content”

Just throwing this out there, but saying, ‘I was thinking about paying for this thing, but then I stopped being able to get it for free, so now I’m not interested in paying for it’ isn’t a super compelling argument.
