Yep. As much fun as it was the first couple of times, levelling to 60 was a chore. The game was fresh and fun, and then it wasn’t. At that point, when you were three alts in and really hating groups for ST, Uldaman or LBRS, you started realising how much of it was shine.

More like:

Blasphemer!

“and that he will “never be his happy go lucky self [sic]” again.”

Even during the darkest days of the Harper regime I never even once considered moving south. You guys are fucking nuts.

What you’re asking for is for people to make a game that isn’t WoW.

Their IP. If you do not defend your IP you can lose it.

WoW is bleeding subscribers left and right.

Dude, they're using the same Character Models, Map Designs, Level Structure, Music Score, Textures, Lighting, Quests, Raids, Monsters, Skills, Flavor Texts, Items, Need I go on? It looks like a duck, it walks like a duck, it quacks like a duck....brother it's a Duck.

People are afraid of them because it takes resources away from new content instead of keeping stuff people did to death back in the day up and going. There are a lot of changes that would have to be made, for starters you would have to have a separate version of the client - and that is a support issue. Then you do

Companies protect their IPs. It’s the way business works. You really think Blizzard should be expected to let their IP just sit out there for a group of totally unaffiliated people who have to answer to no one do with whatever they want? It’s absurd to think that that’s reasonable.

By the way, name one other company in which its spokespeople actually go as far as telling their customers that they don’t actually want what they think they want.

In addition, if the demand is not there, then Blizzard really has little argument to why it doesn’t just allow private servers

I think there’s a lot more going on behind subscriber numbers than you or even I think and I don’t think it could be so easily chalked up to “lol, wow sucks now bring back old content”

Just throwing this out there, but saying, ‘I was thinking about paying for this thing, but then I stopped being able to get it for free, so now I’m not interested in paying for it’ isn’t a super compelling argument.

“Yet Blizzard still hasn’t done what I want them to.”

I don’t think the number of people interested in legacy relative to retail is as big as you think.

Well said, though I would take Anita Sarkeesian off that list. She went out and tried to pick fight for her own publicity/fame and it backlashed against her.

And kill all the civilians there. You a Nazi or just stupid?

Please, I would love to hear you try and explain these claims as anything other than pure fantasy
