Its pretty well known he absolutely cant sing. While the first two albums cover this up by being so musically lush, the later albums highlight his voice far too often and basically becomes nails on a chalkboard for anyone with even a small bit of musical talent.

I know at least with FFXI they admitted that they wrote the development code for PS2, with the PS2 dev kit, so even though its PC only now and they stopped support of the PS2/360 servers, they HAVE to use PS2 dev kits to do any new work on it, once those are dead they will never be able to update the game again…
