You lose to much space when it becomes a convertible. And I want it to be quiet and smooth. More touring than sport.

Until they become convertibles, and no AWD.

Will someone build a convertible version of this that’s simpler and cheaper? I believe America needs a great AWD touring convertible. Something you can daily, and take ACROSS this beautiful country of ours. It has to be 8 series big for to haul all the stuff for all that stuff. It just doesn’t need a zillion…

My moms hubby has a mid 70s Porsche 911 targa super coupe that is just sitting in the garage. He mentions it, but has so many other projects. He was gonna sell it for awhile. Now it just sits. 

Seems to me, that older cars are more enjoyable with the windows down. New cars are designed more for aero than let’s roll down the windows and get some fresh air. Am I right? Or am I right? I’m right. 

That was three horrible ideas and one good one. The real answer is - Suzuki sidekick/samurai geo tracker. 4x4, reliable, parts are easy. Cheap. You can beat on it and not feel bad. Get the 2 free convertible with a bikini top and take out the backsteat. Boom. Pickup.

I think saying a better driver would do better is lame. The point is - OH SHIT! A MOOSE!. 

I thought this was a model or remote control car at first glance. Why not. The chances of never ever seeing one of the other 50 seem to make it worth it. Everyone loves the Miata and there’s tons of aftermarket support. Another $15k and this could be a monster. 

Please put HYPOTHETICALLY in the title. It’s all speculation at this point. Awesome. But speculation. It can’t haul anything at this point. 

This will be an engineering feat if it doesn’t suck. I love the idea of sharing parts, AS LONG AS IT WORKS WELL. I hope it does.

How about this. In the future when self driving cars are everywhere, when traffic congestion reaches a certain density (about the point you get pissed about traffic), your car HAS to be in auto mode. That is when auto driving cars would pay off the most. No more idiots jumping lanes, not signaling, crowding and bumper…
