Spain teachers were on the local news and then DPS teachers and even students had sickouts. The attention they got from administration was in the form of reprimands and condemning the teachers for “disrupting the school day”. At a certain point administration’s bullshit became irrelevant though because it got them…

Publicity is the only thing helping at this point. It’s disgusting how easily these teachers, kids, and parents are ignored. They have been pleading for help from the government, yet the sickouts were the only reason any of this has come to light in the area.

I totally understand where you’re coming from, but Spain has been all over local news as one of the schools that so quickly went downhill because of DPS neglect it brought attention to the need for emergency help and subsequent teacher sick-outs and spurred protests across the district. If these teachers get any help…
