I don’t even concede that her character sucked.

The *real* Valley of the Beyond was either inside us all along, or it’s the friends we made along the way. We’ll find out which one for sure in a deleted scene from the sixth timeline of season three.

I don’t have any problem with Mon-El, but I do think we’re at a point where Melissa Benoist’s relationship with Chris Wood - or rather, the show’s insistence that the character must stick around - is affecting the show adversely.

Can I just say that Season One of American Gods was a HUGE improvement on the book? I’m not saying it was bad, just that Book!Shadow’s total indifference to everything going on around him didn’t really appeal to me. He doesn’t question whatever Wednesday does or what’s going on, doesn’t act like whatever’s going

Everything I read about the new and improved American Gods makes me more and more certain that it’s going to be a cluster fuck.

I am a layman using my layman powers of observation to write that the reason for Solo’s middling success is that origin stories are fucking annoying and Star Wars works much better as a triennial release. It’s not Marvel, it can’t sustain yearly interest beyond the devout, stop flogging the mule, Mickey.

My problem with this position is: how does any shop owner know if their religious faith is being violated by providing service to someone, unless that someone declares their “unprotected” status? You could be a baker whose faith prohibits you from baking for a mixed-race wedding, but if you only meet one member of the

If he was the only person who could provide this service, then I would see why this is important. There are probably 50 bakers within driving distance of this couple that could make a decent wedding cake.

yeah, just find another baker! Separate but equal, right?

If a particular employee doesn’t want to bake a cake because of religious reasons, the business needs to assign that task to a different employee.

So if a cake baker has a religious objection to interracial marriage I guess that’s ok now. Good to know.

This is preposterous. It’s only a matter of time before we get the same shit with much bigger implications: Not selling baby clothes to gay people who adopted? I’m pretty sure you can stretch just about anything and say”the Bible” won’t let you do that.

This wasn’t an employee. This was the owner. Therefore it was the business itself that took this stance. Big difference.

We get it, you’re triggered by Buzzfeed.

Jesus Christ, get your negativity right the fuck outta here.

kinda agree but Feud: Bette and Joan was amazing and I think this will be too (haven’t watched the pilot yet, will soon)

I turned on the show on a whim but became immediately engaged. I am not a big Ryan Murphy fan and wouldn’t think this is a story he could tell but somehow it really works. It has some really awesome characters and I get the sense the show is going to get into some dark territory the next few episodes. Also credit to

This doesn’t have much to do with this episode but it amuses me how Maeve and Dolores are lowkey Charles Xavier and Magneto at this point

Dolores has not been my favorite character this season, but I think I love her for wiping that perma-smirk off Hale’s face, if only for a little while.
