You would figure out Wolf’s point if you looked up the joke. The fact that you haven’t implies that you aren’t engaging in good faith.

Did you even read? Like at all? She said her eye makeup was PERFECT. I’m not sure where you’re from and I’m not going to assume, but saying someone’s eye makeup is perfect is not... Really... Appearance shaming here. :-)
She didn’t insult her appearance at all. If you think she did that’s on you and you’re buying into what these assholes want you to believe. Her use of “perfect smoky eye” was saying that it was created from the ashes of truth burning and that was it in regards to appearance.
God I hope Wolf doesn’t issue some half-assed apology for this and sticks to her guns.
To those concern trolls out there ready to spam every thread in this comment section, the Fascist in Chief and his cronies were going to throw a shitfit about this regardless. Bipartisanship was not going to spring back into exsistamce if she didn’t make those jokes and Republicans were not going to instantly turn…
The AvED series finale is a suitable end to the story. It feels like they already knew this was the end.
I’m bummed this is the end. But I’m also glad it’s not going to get to that sad place in a show’s life where it’s clearly been on too long.
Godspeed, Ash Williams.
The fact that Trump supporters are defending the decision to not attend this dinner basically proves that Trump supporters, like The President himself are cowards who are too scared of having their faux-masculinity shattered.
What, you want every headline to read “Franchise X Entry Y Once Again Fails to Beat Gone With the Wind?”
This film was considered questionable by many people even then.
This all just seems exceedingly pedantic to me.
It’s a term that’s regularly used in the parlance of fan discussions regarding this show, no one seems confused by its usage, and it conveys the intended meaning well. So why do we care?
And in more general storytelling terms, it can mean exactly how it’s being applied here, on other pop culture sites, and in countless conversations.
There’s no reason to indicate that there are alternate universes or time travel elements, but there’s also no reason to indicate that anyone thinks there is.
I loved Crackers’ little dance.
I am so completely fine with this. Who cares what the “plot” is? Archer is about these characters making puns and dirty jokes. Changing the setting just opens up new possibilities for puns and dirty jokes. Also, putting Pam and Archer together is such a great idea. It’s like non-stop Mentos in a bottle of Coke.
I can’t speak for the rest of you, but I’m happy for this cast and these basic character dynamics to play out in whatever genre piece Adam Reed is currently into from now until the heat death of the universe.
That’s not a pop-culture reference, it’s just an old-timey way of saying “good heavens” in French.
What I want out of Archer: Laffs
It’s not mansplaining when the woman is actually *wrong*, though?
It is wrong, though. I think it might just be normal explaining.
