your Camry doesnt have a regular CVT.
it has an E-cvt which is a planetary gear set (like a conventional automatic) coupled with electric motors, than mix the power to emulate a CVT.

While they’re both called CVTs, hybrid CVTs and the steel band types for plain combustion engines are usually pretty different beasts.
