Yeah, that’s not my point. It’s not the social aspect that manufactures discontent, its the manipulative manner the game withholds information and then presents you with grinding or paying to get the cool guns you though you were working towards.

I’ve got more time than money (I guess) but I owned too many Subaru so at this point I want to have to put as little effort and money into keeping the DDs rolling. I’m sticking with silver Camrys and shit because its nice to get years out of a car without having to replace more than tires, fluids and the occasional

FC5 did have premium currency, but like you mention I came up with enough of it (or basic mats, already forgotten) through my natural play that it didn’t feel like I was being denied content. New Dawn was definitely manufactured discontent and I hate it.

See that 20% drop between 5 and 10 years? That’s me living large. Taking a nice midsize sedan from 70k to 130k and then selling it private party to cover half the cost of the next one.

I’m convinced that most of that Discover card debt is automatic charges and penalties from BMG and Columbia House that nobody knows about because they’re still the mailing bills to an address that their customer hasn’t lived at since ‘94.

No, but if you pay off a longer term with only slightly higher APR early you can come out way ahead. When I bought my reasonably priced used car this spring there was a 0.2% difference in APR between the CU 36mo loan I was using as a baseline and the $60mo that the dealer came up with. I took that without second

Yikes then. I’m a few years behind on AAA but decided to play FarCry 5 and New Dawn on the Uplay+ free month. I was very disappointed when I finally unlocked the top-tier weapons and saw that I would only be able to afford one or two of the dozen without a ton of grinding for rare materials or spending cash. It was

As someone who looks like a John C. Reilly wax sculpture that got left in a hot parking lot for a couple of hours, I’m offended.

Seriously, “spent $80k on a Durango” is a phrase that shouldn’t be heard outside of a conservatorship hearing.

My truck has some sick modz; over-sized radiator, dump truck fan clutch, a whole lotta sidewall and a tow ball that lives in a Tupperware bin under the back seat.

Leave Kumail alone!!!!~~~

What’s the point of all the hard work it takes to get on HBO if it doesn’t get your dick wet?

What fucking snob like(d) DMB? I’m convinced their fanbase was 100% 14-24 year old women and the shitty undergrads with acoustic guitars trying to get into their pants.

But we love their oil and money...

I’m bad a roleplaying my characters, so I almost always end up playing a nice-guy-murder-hobo-kleptomaniac in every game. In character creation, I’ll make a hawt babe, or if my wife’s around I’ll have her pick out a famous person and we’ll try to recreate them. The other 25% of the time I’ll create an abomination by

It’s me ya boi TwichContentModerator. I’m hitting the ban button without even looking at the ticket / flagged content and my metrics are through the roof! Jeffy B just slapped me a high-five for being a productivity rockstar.

It’s shittier and lamer than that. I’m sure they just default to punishment without seriously reviewing the reported TOS violations because: 1. that’s more work (effort for the grunts, cost for management,) 2. the PR consequences of inaction are way higher than the blow-back they get if they suspend a few mid-tier

And then there’s the fact that a lot of Asian-Americans emigrated here to escape communist regimes, so they go hard for right-wing politics. Kinda like Cubans in FL.

Wishlisting a game opts you in to further marketing of the game, so you see when it goes on sale, big updates are released, or the devs hold events. It sounds like that is one of the most effective avenues for reaching gamers that indies have.
