Food deserts exist. I live in one. I’m fortunate enough to have a car, but for people who don’t it’s either convenience stores or a long bus ride to the nearest grocery store. Unhealthy food is better than no food. The solution to this problem is a livable wage, not pushing small shops out.

I live in what is for all intents and purposes “the hood” and I love my local 7-11 because all the employees know me in there. I grew up in a rural state and have become a city person. I never want to live more than a mile away from a 7-11.

Old rich white guys are OBSESSED with “loyalty.” My former boss was like that too - every time someone made a mistake they being “disloyal.” Dude, my job depends on your reputation. There’s some blood and gore but I don’t think it rose to the level of violence-porn. The theater was full of kids when I saw it, but it is rated R. I’d put the violence-factor below Texas Chainsaw Massacre but above The Shining, if that helps.
