I’m neutral on Fortnite (I prefer PUBG) and I don’t mean to speak for you but this argument isn’t simply reactionary. There’s a practical reason behind “people who thinks that just because something is appealing to a wide market of people that it’s inherently bad.”

John later apologized for much of what he said in anger. Before GamerGate was ever a thought on people’s minds he advocated for ethics/proper discourse in game journalism.
