I just never feel safe doing a panic stop when someone steps in front of the car without warning. Rear-end accidents are usually caused by someone in front, who didn’t participate in the actual crash. Besides, they always retreat once it becomes clear that I haven’t yielded.
The rear fenders aren’t usually shaped like that.
When was the last time this website changed for the better?
Yes.
rebuilt every two years and I’ve had not one single issue
Lincoln Mk7 diesel!
Looks like that NFS free-to-play game. Super addictive, I overheated my last iPhone with that game.
Weird, I’d expect Chinese license plates.
I opened this article in a new tab, read it without incident. Read your commend, glanced up at AdBlock.
Nice! Wish the GTS existed when I was in the market, but that was a couple years back. Surprisingly, it still does donuts with an open diff.
Yeah, me too. I happen to have a red over white ND Miata, nearly as pictured. With the open diff, because I wanted rain-sensing wipers and Mazda are kind of douchey about that.
(a) not an MX-5, (b) Mazda3s are splendid, (c) has anyone ever driven an automatic Miata? They’re the same delightful car, but you don’t have to shift. It’s worse for some purposes, but works exactly the same for the car’s core purpose: To go around corners as quickly as the engine can manage.
It sounds like they’re going for the same kind of effect as Mazda’s Skyactiv-X engine. Could’ve been more efficient, but lets have bunches of torque instead.
Might have spotted a Honda Today.
GR86 is a much, much better name than GT86. GT: luxury implied, meaningless since everyone uses it. GR: time to do skids in new Toyotas.
I can’t hear you over its overhangs
Miata is definitely cramped as all hell, good thing I like small spaces. I’m a big fan of describing to passengers all the shit that’s interfering with their left leg: 12V socket, catalyst, handbrake, cup holder, and (because there’s USB ports and no glovebox) whatever fridge or hair dryer you’ve plugged into the 12V…
Oddly, I think base model Miata will be the fastest in a straight line since it’s got smaller tires (lower gearing) than usual. On track, the cars are evenly matched, but in real life the FR-S’ powerband begins at 4800rpm and the Mazda is up and running by like 3k.
Having owned both: The ND Miata is considerably faster than the FR-S in the real world.
