If cops cannot deal with criticism or percieved insults how exactly do they handle drug dealers, gangs, domestic violence calls, drive by shooters? They have no business being cops if they can't deal with words. St Louis cops and especially their union went to meltdown mode over 5 football players with their hands up.

Pretty sure the only lesson here is a journalism lesson: get the facts straight, report all sides, interview the relevant people.

They did believe her. Which was a problem when basic facts wouldn't have checked out if they did a modicum of investigating — like the fact that UVa holds fraternity rush in the spring, not in the fall. Like the fact that there was no party at Phi Psi on the date that Jackie claimed to be raped. Like the fact that

Or maybe just don't take part in a national magazine article that slanders a whole group of people without being sure that they were responsible.

Just a note on this -

what is the corruption? The victim never filed a complaint. Your quote you put is also of the killer filing a petiton against the victims sister so where are you going with that?

If you're illegal, get out and wait your turn. Stop trying to cut the line.

Everything about being an undocumented immigrant was great until Obama came along.

Frankly, I wish the whole damn movie was about the hair show because the rest of that movie was an exorcise in misinformation and throwing black women under the bus.

Sorry, Mark. Pretty misleading. Looks like all he did was joke back when she made a silly typo. She shut him down, for sure, but I was expecting a lot more than "It can be ;)" as a "pickup". Pretty weak.

Good Hair was interesting and eye-opening to white people, sure, because it introduced you to subject matter to which you were previously unfamiliar. Most black women I know hated it and deemed it an embarrassment. Considering the very catalyst for the film was a heartbreaking question asked by Rock's young daughter,

My relationship with Chris Rock is complicated to me sometimes he's funny sometimes hes not sometime I like him sometimes I don't and sometimes he really is smarty and insightful ..and sometimes hes not

mark. You've crossed the fucking line. This did not need to be reported on ever. On gawker, and certainly not here. What I really want to know is what the fuck does Allen think about this?

There is nothing terrifying about knowing you can become strong and fit after 70. That shit is reassuring as FUCK. I love this post and I love Willie.

Since you aren't a psychiatrist (though, I am certain someone will come along and claim that they are and that he is mentally ill . . . then insult me) nor is there any actual record of him being diagnosed, it makes your argument invalid.

Is all you can do is insult me? Why not actually try to formulate an intelligent response? All you want to do is be a jerk and stick your fingers in your ears.

You really don't know how to make an analogy, do you?

Not taking Pier's side, but staying in character is not an argument for getting raped. Shia wasn't restrained, under duress, or otherwise coerced into the sex act. He allowed it to happen because he wanted to stay in character.

wasn't this interview published just before the rape accusations went viral and became wildly known all over the country a few days later? up until then most people weren't aware or talking about it.

Good point, also I'd include the cop who (recently) asked the black motorist he pulled over in a busy gas station, to show his license and reg and then when the guy did, cop opened up on him and cop shit his pants (speculative). Black dude thankfully escaped with only a graze.
