Squidling: Satan .. is that you?

The buttons barely depress on any of my GC controllers idk how, it’s the only controller that happens to. They didn’t stress test it enough cycles.

It’s great for the 3D platformer games where you constantly have the analog pushed all the way in whatever direction you are going. However the analog tension is so loose that finite movements are a little trickier for something like fps. That said the rubber ribs on the convex analog stick are much better than say on

I would really suggest star ocean 2 for the awesome 2d backgrounds and sprites... However there is 3d 90s era stuff sprikled in there. For instance the world map is3d but characters are always 2d sprites. Town’s are 2d artwork. That said the active battle system gets me every time to finish the game whenever I pick it

Take it or leave it but I prefer the sharper look of the PsVita, when compared to the blurrier look of the PSP. Just zoom in on the images and the vita looks great. Again just my preference while the PSP may be closer to the original content it’s hard to focus on it and I’m more precise without the motion blur.

I’ll take a photo side by side later to show. But also take it with a grain of salt because photos don’t really tell the truth sometimes with screens. I will say that the psp still is a great way to play the classics but you’ll see the sharpness difference between the two, and the games running Sharper is more

Castlevania sotn is kinda rpg ish and the sprites are unbelievable

Preach

Sacrilege but I actually blow the games up so I can see them and psp has less pixels which makes PsOne games blurry when blown up. Plus the severe ghosting (2000). PsVita solves all these issues, try out the vita for PsOne with bilinear filtering off, its sooo sharp due to the pixel density on the vita without any

Actually now that’s where I am. I have a crt, and while it is nice and crisp on there, when I commute the psp really makes the games blurry and small. But with PsVita you can turn bilinear filtering off and i’d argue it is just as crisp and nice as on the crt, it’s really a great image. PSTV however makes psone games

Also it makes PsOne games look beautiful with bilinear filtering turned off...Shame the PSTV has no such option

Got that prompt and turned it off immediately

Is there an instruction on how to make these wallpapers moving?

Recently the Hori onyx looks like the perfect controller to have for the ps4, no paddles but you can battle beaver it up.

My god I am not worthy for how dope this post is

This is the perfect post to take my mind away from working on a national holiday.

Thanks ill check it out!

This has to be the most sensible comment I have seen not just on Kotaku but Gawker as a whole.

You can also follow this using a different timeline... the voice acting. For the love of god please give him a new voice, currently it is horrible.

Firewatch seems like a good game to get someone into gaming. With the added benefit that it teaches first person controls without too much stress
