I don’t get it. How is it fair? To use your analogy, that is like saying that because Netflix is available on all TVs, then we should be able to compare a $800 LCD TV to a $3000 OLED.

I wonder about that. You mightpay more to build the PC, but then the price of the games are lower at launch than consoles and also drop faster over time.

I haven’t thought of this until now, but what’s stopping me from buying a digital version of a game for One X right before getting a Series X? I guess nothing? I wonder how the stores will work on these consoles with stuff like this. Like if I’m looking at the store on the Series X, will I only see versions of games…

keep in mind that 34.99 isn’t just for the console, it also covers 2 years of xbox live and game pass. which, if you paid for everything individually would cost you $859.

If the name of the system will prevent you from buying or enjoying it, you seem to have a lot of problems that are non-gaming related.
The playstation naming scheme ist for people for which it is a problem to do anything else but count simple numbers.

Dear Will, if you took a second to try and review the *game* Microsoft Flight Simulator instead of the concept of cloud and games as a service, maybe you would have done the tutorial, which would have taught you to fly VFR (which incidentally is the only form of navigation actually included in the tutorial).

How in the hell is 60fps a performance mode in next gen?

Don’t get me wrong, I am not knocking performance modes. Options are great. But gears 5 runs at 4k60 right now...and does so with full effects.

I kind of hope they do limited time events where they just throw in weird shit into the world as easter eggs for players to find.
