I’d imagine they use a similar system to what they did with WoW, which is scanning the list of active processes against a list of known cheat programs. They probably just waited to drop the ban hammer until they could patch out any associated exploits.

Not true. This (the shown gameplay, not necessarily Conan’s commentary) is enough for me to pass on it.

Considering it’s a game that only makes money if people continue to play it, yes it is silly. They should be doing everything possible to keep people playing, not alienating a considerable portion of their existing customer base.

Like most of the ‘period’ shooters, I find BF1 boring. I was perfectly content with BF4's/Bad Company’s modern (but not futuristic) personality.

I hope they change the battle system, specifically the character controls. I stopped playing after getting the 3rd character because I couldn’t stand it.
