Because Japan has been one of the largest markets for purchasing pop music/related stuff. CD's are still popular in japan, and they aren't cheap either.
Short answer; money.
what i understand is that all around the world politicians and parents teach their youth to continue the cycles of hate towards other cultures and people, from such a young age before they even learn the history. i'd say that's ridiculous, funny, sad, will continue to a happen, and there's nothing we can do about it.

I'm in agreement with you. And in no way patronizing. That doesn't mean I can't be tired of hearing anti-japan comments on a regular basis. it doesn't even have to be korea/japan specifically, but as I mentioned it's a little disheartening hearing children speak of hate.
do we need a reason to hate the French? :P j/k.

It's more than a few people I'm afraid. I didn't realize just how prevelant the anti-Japan sentiment is in South Korea until I lived here for a bit.
i'm currently living in South Korea, and their attitude toward Japan is a little tiresome. The thing I like the least is seeing super young children saying how much they hate Japan. That is what their parents are teaching them.

Games are getting more diverse, and more and more women are entering the industry. All good things. But why people feel the need to make a huge issue…
If everybody is playing and enjoying games, then how are they alienating themselves to 51% of the market?
the same could be said for just about any preference ever. your comment is pointless and annoying.
ah I love bust-a-groove! i spent so much time playing that at a friends house when i was younger!
ah right! I forgot about the PC rooms. they're so common I basically stopped seeing them haha. that likely is where most gaming takes place.
I see you've been informing us poor readers! shame, all that work for just stills.
the behind the scenes video was great!
but... where is the actual video of the remade opening??
You would think the hardware would be very cheap in Korea. In fact I did think that, until I moved here.
Electronics are pricier here in Korea than they are in The US. Even Korean made electronics. It doesn't make sense, but it's true. There are probably some hidden underground markets or used places, but that's likely…
Even if you aren't impressed by their military, the take away is: there's a ton of smart, fit men with great hair.
the only sketchy place i've seen in all of korea was Itaewon, and that's mostly because of the large foreign population.
