I feel like Jennifer Lawrence is currently experiencing the same backlash that Anne Hathaway experienced. Like, I log on one day and suddenly everyone is so fucking sick of her and she’s so goddamn annoying but I don’t recall anything that would make people feel that way. I mean, she dated an older guy and they did a

I have hair about the same texture as you. Mine is colored and I use heat on it more than I should.

Why, exactly?

I describe it as “If you do not believe that women have a right to their own bodies, that women have a right to body autonomy - you cannot claim to support women”. Because, basically if you are saying that a government should be able to force a woman to remain pregnant and a government can force a woman to give

“We’ve stripped away these cultural norms that were there to protect women,”

It’s a classic move by the right - claim they’re reasonable and just want to meet in the middle, then demand the other side do all the moving. “We’d join feminist movements if they’d just agree to hate women a little bit more.”

That *is* incredibly generous for a woman who would return us to Victorian sensibilities. I don’t believe she can renounce her entire life’s ethos over this, she’s essentially an older Megyn Kelly: upset at the single thing that conservatives have done to her that she disagrees with.

“You cannot be anti choice and feminist. Period.”

“Throughout the first half of the event the panelists talked about Planned Parenthood, complained that anti-abortion women had been ostracized by the Women’s March and had feminism stolen from them.”

Goddamnit. Can’t these women see that even while toeing the party line and using sound bites pre-approved by “their side” that these men don’t give a shit about them? It was so uncomfortable even reading this account that I cannot bring myself to watch it (as someone who has been heckled in crowds before). Also, that

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. And let’s not forget my distinguished governor’s penchant for trying to avoid MO’s sunshine law by using an app that doesn’t allow screenshots and automatically deletes messages. And his unwillingness to share with the public how much his inauguration cost. And the delightful way he

The problem is that nobody knows how they will react until the bullets start flying. I was in a class with a pararescue instructor, he said he saw well trained military members hiding under desks crying when shit got real. How do they plan to train the teachers for something the military can’t figure out?

Seriously, how often does the shooter survive like he did this time? Almost always they either commit suicide or keep shooting until they’re killed by the police.

Interesting how Trump says “I don’t like this idea of ‘active shooter drills’ to be honest with you” because the name could frighten children, while he also supports arming the teachers.

Here’s a story about a survivor being mistaken for the shooter by the police. Good thing no such mistakes could possibly happen by armed teachers with far less training than police officers!

How anybody can look at this and not wonder if he’s some kind of Lovecraftian eldritch horror in a skin suit is beyond me. And that wasn’t really even a joke.

Oh, Wayne, please take a civics class. Unless you can name a specific *government* entity (law enforcement, FBI, CIA, Congress, the President, state legislatures, etc.) that physically prevents conservatives from speaking on college campuses, then you have no idea what the First Amendment says.

I wish someone would sit this blithering idiot down and tell him that the Second Amendment only protects the right to bear arms.

“On college campuses, The Communist Manifesto is one of the most frequently assigned texts.”
