right! honestly i felt it was more powerful because of the cracks in her voice and the roughness. it was raw and emotional.
Her voice was definitely strained last night. I’ve seen her live and she can hit amazing notes. I thought, considering her voice seemed rough, she adapted the song pretty well to what she was capable of. Not to mention she was trying to NOT cry the whole time.
I was skeptical too only knowing her previously as a basic pop singer, but have you heard Rainbow? She has chops. Abuse survivor here - the song is the single most cathartic thing I’ve ever listened to. It’s glorious. The whole album is full of so much catharsis and light and joy, without ever trying to cover up scars or say that the world is perfect now. I love it so much.

Exactly. There is no demeaning Trump, the “affair” rumors are to demean Haley, by implying she is only in her present job because of an affair. I’m not the greatest fan of Haley- she’s too conservative for me- but she is more qualified for her job than Trump is for his.
