KOTOR launched as an Xbox exclusive and wasn’t ported to PC until months later. Same goes for Jade Empire, Mass Effect, etc. For years, Bioware was effectively a first-party Xbox developer and PC was very much an afterthought.

I am a strong KOTOR 2 defender/proponent, the only reason I went with the first one is that the Mission-Zaalbar thing is my go-to thought for shit I did in a video game that made me feel genuinely awful for taking the option. 

Kotor came out on Xbox 5 months before PC. Don't get me wrong, I associate it more with PC but that's just because I first played it there. But it was an Xbox franchise first.
