I’ve lost a lot of interest, not going to lie. I figured that leak with the eight currencies was real, I figured, but hoped against, this being a live service but here we are.

Akrham Knight’s ending was stupid for so many reasons and made no sense. Batman gives up at the end because Robin is in Danger yet never did that when Barabara, Gordon or Nightwing were caught. Knightfall was obviously a fake out but are people really going to think the bat themed vigilante isn’t just Batman?

It’s kinda confusing that they’re going in this direction; why would fans of the previous Arkham games be looking for a multiplayer looter shooter as the long-awaited follow-up?

This was my thought exactly. Like why is Captain Boomerang using a gun? Instead of…boomerangs?

What actually bothers me more about it than it being a looter-shooter (albeit I AM bothered by that because of the history these types of games has) is that it looks like all four characters practically play the same.

They tried to state how they were different but in the end all it looked like was watching four

Fair enough. You’re the expert, I should probably stop trying to lecture you about your job, I suppose.

There’s a lot of effort and disruption put into making anything that isn’t sweatpants not uncomfortable for the actor. There is nothing necessary or reasonable about the clothes we put actors in.

This article starts off with whether actors should have to wear them, called them outmoded, and then softpedaled. I have real beef with the cycle of think pieces that come out talking about how actresses need to be liberated from the corset every time a show with a countess comes out.

Okay, I have a few opinions here. For one, I’m a Costumer for film & TV, and know Dr. McKnight personally. Corsets are not tools of the patriarchy, and I’m pretty sick of that as a talking point. They are not outmoded garments. They are just support garments that need to fit properly.

This game is much more accessible than any of their prior games. For the most part, in the Souls games, if you get stuck on a tough section or boss, you’re pretty much just stuck until you figure it out. Grinding for souls to make you stronger is more tedious. In Elden Ring, if you get stuck on something, there’s

You know what else? It also manages to be a beautiful looking game that plays well, is packed with content, has no microtransactions or paid cosmetics, and still only costs $60 despite the rest of the AAA industry trying to tell us that they can’t make games at that price point anymore.

I think the biggest difference is Bungie truly believed in Destiny as a concept. Anthem and The Avengers were cynical attempts at making a quick buck.

because it wasn’t cutesie enough in a Zelda sort of way

Film rights =/= video game rights.

I returned Elden Ring because it wasn’t cutesie enough in a Zelda sort of way -- but I absolutely love the point being made here. I might even re-buy it

wild how i wrote this to specifically call out halo infinite then didnt even need to mention it by name

The academy definitely needs to be more vigilant in publicly denouncing really bad jokes. If someone is cracking a GI Jane joke in 2022, they need people on hand to step-up and make it right then and there - don’t rely on Will Smith to do the work for you; take the initiative and do the smacking yourself! Where’s that

true, Rayan was attacking MS every 2 days, they shutup after Microsoft went out saying sony is paying to block games from gamepass

Sony have tried to play this a lot more Japanese (quiet, in the room discussions)

It really needs to be mentioned that no single game series is the cause of the holdup. It’s K from Activision Blizzard King, that’s really the holdup here. I agree that the other bits are bad too, but MS absorbing one of the greatest shares of the MOBILE sector is the real cause for alarm.
