We recently looked at video camera footage of me and my sister as kids. And the quality is so bad. We talked about how much better the tiny iPhone camera is. So, alone the camera would be seriously impressive. Plus, the amount of storage this tiny device has would be very, very impressive.

I assume part of it is parents or relatives who might either just assume that their boy will want a male figure or because of their prejudices think female action figures are for girls or something. And part of it might be that some boys (due to society) at some point think girls are icky or something. Most boys

Could you point me to which part of my comments suggest anger? Or is visceral in any way? I can assure you that I am not angry in the least nor do I have anything against a more complex view. The comment you posted now makes more sense, but I have to say I don’t really see how this should detract from the story. 16

So first you say she had no power so she couldn’t refuse his sexual advances and then you argue she had so much power that she (her family) could forced him to marry her?

But that’s again after he married her. Why did he marry and bring all this trouble up on him if not for love? Your answering a completely different question than I asked.

Still not sure how this could have any way helped business. Could you explain why them marrying could have positive influence on what kind of “questionable” business in what way because I really, really can’t come up with any scenario that makes even a little bit sense.

why did he have to marry her? For him not marrying her and either abandoning her completely or just giving her a bit of money would surely have been much easier (as did thousands of other men). As you state there was a big power difference between them and her family didn't really have any way of forcing him either...

I could watch it and I am in Switzerland, so maybe check again? Usually I can't watch them either, but this did work.

And? Netflix can still choose to do it as soon as Hayley has time again (which might be soon- who knows if the new thing gets picked up)- there’s no time pressure and if there are a few years between they could have fun with it.

Yes, because knowing the bare minimum about cults is so creepy- do you also call people who know the most basic facts about aids or rape creepy? I mean, how creepy is it to know so,e basic facts about dangerous but common things in order to know how to avoid/protect yourself from it? Soo creepy.

Oh god the baby penguin!!!!!!! Sorry, don't know what you wrote bout the babyyyyyyyyyyy!

I think Veronica Mars Fans are pretty intentionally courted, and they are mostly grown up, so...

Ravi is the best! I also loved her first zombie boyfriend, the musician.

Most cults don't prevent their members from every kind of relationship with all outsiders. What is allowed varies from cult to cult, but what is usually prevented are close relationships with people who left the cult. How many friends of you were in the group but left? How many do you still have regular contact with?

Can I marry you?

I assume as a professional player his focus was more on improving his service or something than how he looks.

Impeachment? Did I miss something? Not a native speaker, but cN you even use the word for a witness? As far as I understood it, they just tried to make him seem a little less believable. It wasn’t the best argument either, but sometimes it’s a little thing that sways someone in saying “reasonable doubt”.

Yes, but I think part of why it felt so hurtful to her husband was because it was coming from his wife’s legal team and as a result of a favour he was reluctantly doing them.

I think there were moments where they could have become friends. And there was at least a lot of history between them (including their shared grief over Will Gardner) and she destroyed that for Peter. I was also thinking of Cary and Kalinda.

While I wasn’t satisfied with the finale, I didn’t find the whole Diane/Alicia/husband thing as confusing as the writer. For me, it was pretty clear that they didn’t have any clear evidence or any real belief in the affair, but that they just wanted to smear his reputation somehow to make the testimony less believable
