I think it's similar to alcohol. For most people it's possible to drink in moderation / eat junk food in moderation. And for some people it's just easier to not do it at all.

Being aware of your privilege. Speak up if other men deny that privilege. Speak up and support women if they have to deal with sexism, that includes if their claims of sexism aren't heard or belittled.

Even if they didn't it might still be a wake up call for them which helps them realize how much difference there still is. So many men would never do something like this, but still don't understand how much patriarchy and sexism still exist and how much it sucks for women.

While I do feel for them, I thought it was very interesting that they didn’t expect anything like that. I thought it was very revealing to see how little the average dude seems to know the level of harrasement women get. Having to read a few of those once doesn’t really compare to getting them on the regular.
