It’s not gonna happen. We might get some retro releases scattered here and there (and I think, similar to digital version of Wii games on Wii U), Gamecube games could be offered without any “retro” moniker) but they’ve given zero indication they’re going to revive the Virtual Console.
It’s almost certainly not happening, so uh... I wouldn’t hold your breath.
