I haven’t extracted it yet (nor do I intend to), but going from experience with HD textures for Source games, I imagine each single 4K texture must be at least a few hundred megabytes. I imagine that adds up.

Yes. First of all, a lot of extra work for no justifiable reason, as others pointed out. Second, the hard drive space the game would take would increase tremendously. It would be more controversial to have it than not have it and let modders have their go at it.

Most reviews I’ve read so far actually state that they find Devil Dinosaur extraneous and wish it was just about Lunella. I actually find that a very good sign about this comic and its protagonist.
Different things. 4K textures means the whole image is that large, and that takes up a lot of RAM memory to play. It doesn’t make sense to vastly sacrifice performance for the sake of a ultra high quality texture you see in a window or a random wall.
