“Additional friction at a larger distance from center of rotation will help you stop quicker” is a valid statement. You’ll have more friction from the same amount of piston movement than you would with a smaller diameter rotor. It might not matter in terms of raw stopping power if you’re already hitting your traction

I do the same. Sadly there have been a lot of break ins where the cyclists park lately so ive been worried about leaving my key despite having the key pad. Can they just drive away if they get in by breaking the glass? Ive often wondered that. Not enough to google it, mind you but just enough to where it causes me

Use mine all. the. time.

I use mine constantly. It's especially great if you go kayaking. Lock the keys in the car inside the glove box. Boom, no more worrying about losing your expensive chip key in the water.

I use it daily! Glad to know you’re not stalking me though.

You need a 4.0L for your Jeep, as god intended.

Please, please review all of Jalopniks fast cars from now on.

I feel so burdened when Tesla comes out to my house (or wherever) to get my car, drops off a loaded loaner Tesla, fixes it, and then brings it back to my house clean, for free. Contrast that with my wife’s Lexus and the vaunted dealership model, where I have to drive it across town and sit in a lobby for two+ hours

Yes.

Ive seen Rick Perry a number of times throughout the years as recently as a couple weeks ago - no amount of glasses can make that asshole smarter.

I didn’t read it as dumping on them, just pointing out that almost all motorcycle journalism is devoted to those two classes.

Not biased, that’s the perception other people have around those things. We’ll celebrate and test all forms of two-wheel transport around here.

I’ll tack on that dealing with a press car can often be more of a headache than it’s worth. People think it’s all great, with you getting the keys to Someone Else’s Car for a little while. But that aspect is actually terrible. We try our best to treat them better than our own cars, not worse, and that adds an extra

Thank you for pulling back the curtain. I think most Jalops like knowing how things work. I know I do. Hoping to see more articles of this caliber in the future.

Matt,
