Jeep Hurricane

And ironically, the new Mini stole the wheel design off the Flex with the appearance package:

“Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.”

Simple: Financing.

Your timing is impeccable! Gotta decide what to do with the wife’s Flex. Way over mileage, due up in less than 3 months, and had to put new tires on it a few months ago due to a damaged tire and pretty worn tread, etc.. Pretty sure we’ll buy it out because we do like it a lot, don’t want to deal with turning it in,

If I lived by the phrase “If Hot Wheels have taught me anything”, I’d be in really big trouble...

Any race car, really, but in particular: really really valuable old ones. 20’s Bugatti type 35 (with a 300 SL gullwing photobomb) from last weekend at Laguna Seca. I had two solid days of joyous overload. This one (and the cleaner, supercharged version in the foreground) were an almost 90 year flashback, making it

Fear displayer! Spin balloons! Main circle!

Awesome! Thanks for volunteering (and for sharing the petition elsewhere, as I heard about it but didn’t see it anywhere yet). Unfortunately, I live in So Cal and had to get back to work :-( One day, I’d love to spend the whole week.

Was just there for the first time this weekend for the pre-reunion vintage races. Absolutely awesome. If I lived closer, I would go there all the damn time. It’s so visitor friendly, everyone was super nice, the track is as epic as I hoped it would be to spectate, camping alongside the track is super cool...I could go

I went in to court prepared to fight a red-light camera ticket probably 10 years ago. Had all sorts of notes and evidence showing the speed shown on the video (got the video from the police station, super nice officer helped get it onto a CD) and screenshots on the ticket paperwork was impossible, how I’d never been

It’s funny how bad some of the maneuvers were.

Is there just a trailer towing and maneuvering competition, with regular full size trucks, not ridiculous diesel hot rods, somewhere? I would genuinely like to watch and or compete in that.

I actually like the idea of a minivan, but my wife and I both just didn’t like the idea of driving one and looking at it all the time. Not for what anyone else thought, but for our preference. The Flex is suiting us quite well - it’s got all the good parts of a minivan except for sliding rear doors, but drives like a

+1,000,000 points for this. My wife drives one that looks exactly like this. It’s really a great wagon (drives like a car, little body roll). This was our answer to the exact question posed, and we’re hooked on it. We didn’t splurge for the EcoBoost, but the NA 3.5 actually moves pretty well, and the SEL trim has all

Did not read article yet - just came here to praise the GIF creator. To whoever made that one:

It’s not necessarily false...but could be depending on all things considered. He could’ve just added, “assuming you’re not traction limited” to the end and we’d all be happy.

Good point. I guess if they’re stalking you, noticing you locked it with the keypad and maybe bet that you left keys inside. Otherwise, they might not be any more likely to break your window, or think to look for hidden keys, but just do whatever they do to a car without the keys (hotwire? screwdriver in ignition?).

I might be able to justify this [including diesel premium cost] as my next commuter vehicle, if it averages decent combined mpg. Trying to get my wife to drive a truck, so I don’t need a third vehicle, is seemingly rather difficult. Kinda don’t want a full-size, but this is mostly-full-size, probably better to drive

Use mine all the time. In my driveway, don’t need to grab keys from inside. At the beach, leave keys in car. Bike riding, same deal. It’s glorious.
