For everyone replying to these types of comments on the Raptor (or other "fun" vehicle): yes it gets shitty mileage. No it's probably not "why they bought it", but if a more fuel efficient but very powerful engine came out that wasn't total crap for reliability, it's nothing but a good thing, and I think most current

Dammit. You stole my secret plan. Hopefully all these don't get bought up now thanks to you ;-). I've got two kids, and a minimal vacation budget. For the last few years my wife and I have been eyeing pretty much exactly what you bought, but particularly a pre-smog big block motorhome that was in "decent" condition,

Why shouldn't it be for a ~$30k sports car? Most people will be daily driving these. Could be a sweet spot of power and handling with less operating costs.

Right there with you. The Fox body was cool, only because I was a teen around the time the 5.0 was around. Then they were just plain boring until the latest gen, and particularly so with the new 5.0. Now the new model has me drooling. My current daily driver E46 coupe 5 spd is great for commuting while still having

This was originally posted at the start of my wife's business. I'd still say that now that she's using many of the business card "magnets" and some other random stuff, that it was definitely worth the discounted prices because of the groupons. I'd say the real value would be higher than the groupons, but probably not

Maybe my point was muddled, but I was trying to say that you can have your opinion on the styling, and if you think they're polishing the Mazda2's knob on styling, I'll withhold further comment. My point was that your other comments, as I quoted above, and here: "Regardless of who's building the car, it's a little

I think you skipped the very next sentence: "The buyer would just have to pay for all of the development, R&D, and testing of the gearbox before it went into the car."

WTF article were you reading? All he says is that he likes the design, which is clearly an opinion he can develop given the info and pictures we've seen. Nowhere does he say that it's the "greatest hatchback ever devised" or that "anyone should buy it". I think you're taking this too personally...

This is a '96 model on the sticker. So I think his claim is about right.

Not bad! My 2000 328i, 5spd w Dinan chip/intake/exhaust, commuting 40 mi/day, 60% highway = ~24 mpg (and that's with 218k on the odometer!). I definitely don't drive with fuel economy in mind. It'll get 29+ on long highway drives.

NBD, but this is definitely a '53.

I was still hoping to see any "old" Jeep on there...we've had our YJ since almost new, and it probably has 1/3 of it's miles off-road. Rock crawling to hauling ass in Baja. It takes a beating and just keeps rallying. I broke a motor mount in Baja, bolted a section of chain to the block and the frame, and still drove

Haha, I didn't scroll to see your comment before posting mine...but it was my SECOND favorite after the dunebuggy :-)

M48A5 Armored Vehicle-Launched Bridge

I confuse...how is this live? I'm watching the feed, but it's shown in local time, which can't be right per the itinerary shown on the Goodwood website - starting saloons, NASCAR, etc. at 0920, but it's like almost 5pm there. Aaaand times for the cars I'm watching are already posted in "live timing".

Extra bonus points for the VHS hood scoop joke. That one's new to me. I like it.

I had that problem a few weeks ago. It's a known issue - search the spotify community website (community.spotify.com). There is/was some bug in which you can't add more than a certain number (~400?) of songs to Your Music without it forgetting them next time. I know I had to go through and select a few hundred songs

I used to use an expensive Logitech mouse that was similar in the number of buttons/features, but had a recharging base. Waste of effort and money! The 510 battery lasts many months with 8+ hours a day use on my work copmuter. Ergonomics are great for being somewhat small, although I do have smallish hands. I cannot

My sentiments exactly...except I did vote it NP just because I knew it wouldn't win out in the end :-)

Agreed. Unless my other kid was kidnapped and in that truck, and even then, I wouldn't start ramming, but would follow/chase as much as possible to ensure they didn't get away, while trying to not be unsafe (if that was even possible). That's where shit starts to get confusing, morally, or public safety-wise, or even
