seriously, after the 540 being on the question i expected to at least see some bimmer, if not my choice of the 540 msport.

i'm going to go with Mike's choice with a slight twist. E39 540 with the M sport pack. Its a baby M5, complete with that wonderful six speed manual to give your left foot something to do.

It is a toughie. I had to let the 959 win out though. Both are homologation specials(more or less), so what more could you ask for?

That was my second choice sir.

1987 saw the second year of production for the E30 M3, but i'm going to have to stray from my love of the E30 and go with... the Porsche 959.

What makes us Jalops? Not giving a damn about anything on this list.

and if the car wasn't overheating?

Agreed. Fortunately I heard its discontinued for the time being due to the paint not being available from Japan after the quake.

as a model, the E30 smell.

i still wouldn't trust my lambo to a kid with his hat on backwards.

once again, no love. I suggested the fishy benz.

There can really only be one winner here. Granted, it was designed after a fish for aerodynamics.

Callin it now - QOTD, Paula Dean edition.

late reply, but congrats. Mine is at the paint shop right now.

This is actually similar to what some dragster builders do. They will actually bury a block for several years before building it. (its a little more complicated than that, but I don't recall the details)

* unless its a 911 and you're already balls deep in a turn

I can't help but notice that it has chrome trim not shadowline like the 318is actually came with. Wonder whats up with that?

Such a sessy car in person. One of the former high ups in my company had a silver one. I've seen him tooling around town in it on a couple of occasions. for almost 100k...ehh, crack pipe. Cool car, but not for me.

all I have to say is F yea!!

I'll give Kyle some credit. Troutman is a tiny ass wide spot in the road with more cops than they know what to do with. Those guys are just begging for some action.
