You need to do a lot more than just eliminate the rotation. You'd have to have thrown it perfectly straight in the air with absolutely no other forces acting on it. Otherwise it's going to have a parabolic flight and never reach the point where it fully stops and reverses (the theoretical Sykes point.)

Here's a hint.. just because Giz has decided to make every other article about how Google+ sucks this week, that doesn't make it true.

I'm glad they are looking out for me and have decided that 512MB is all I need for what they think I should be doing with my iPhone. Freedom from too much RAM! Finally!

It seems to me that people who are into foursquare and broadcast their whereabouts to everyone would already be used to these kinds of situations. I'm not sure what the huge difference is between the phone popping it up like a text message as you walk by or you checking your app from your lonely apartment. Either

Or it's just a typo and he meant to type harbingers. Probably not.

lolololololololol! the "/sarcasm" at the end was the most cleverest part! I was almost like.. what?? and them BOOM /sarcasm. CLASSIC

You can add the gaming remote later though if you want. At least that's the plan, not sure if you can buy them separately yet.

Playon is just one of multiple private channels that will stream content from your PC, in just about any format. It does cost a small amount of money, but others are free. Playon has the advantange of also letting you stream all Hulu content (not only Hulu+) and several other channels like Comedy Central, NatGeo,

The issue is that rather than replace the battery which is the only problem, you get an entirely new device. That's the wasteful part.

It's correct that it dropped from the artificially high numbers that occurred immediately after it went public, but to report a "60% drop" as if it's dying when more people are active than before (by a significant margin) is either deliberately misleading or willfully ignorant. Don't mention that usage is actually up

It was in bad taste for these firms to do these in the first place. Does ABC Advertising think any of us care what they think about Steve Jobs' death? Or are they just using this opportunity to get a bit of free publicity by putting something like this out? They can't possibly feel like they are filling in any

I assume their plan to get people like you back is to continue improving their streaming service until you don't have better options. We'll see if they can do enough of that so people can forgive them for that horrendous ONEs of dollars of a price increase they slapped us with.

Exactly. I never understood the need to divide in the first place. It's like saying BMI should have split when records gave way to tapes, and then again when CDs started to take over. All they need to do is taper off DVDs as people use streaming more. Assuming that by then we don't only have last year's TV and

Someone needs to be working on a script for Jason Statham right now.

"perhaps he WAS misunderstood."

"perhaps he was misunderstood."

I'm afraid it's always gonna be "too soon" for most people here. Sadly it probably has less to do with the human life aspect than it has to do with fears about what's going to happen with future Apple products.

"You really expect a sixty year old woman to take an android and say "oh let me go root this so I can tether it to my chromebook and sync it with my xoom."

He's not the one who brought up the mom.. the OP did. He was referring to the OP saying his mother wouldn't be able to figure out how to text on an Android. Which is ridiculous.

It's only hurtful and ugly if you'd set it up that way. That's the good thing about Android.. if you don't like the user experience there's just about an unlimited number of ways you can change it. You can make it nearly identical to iOS if you really want to.
