I don’t think everyone who cannot overcome addiction lacks humility. I’m a pretty judgy person in some ways, but mental disease is not a moral flaw. It’s disease, just like any other, but with a much greater array of self-medication options.

From what I’ve read, this seems like comparing a child actor who is unstable and self-medicates with a musician who has anger problems (which may very well be justified). Nothing I’ve seen about Banks has indicated she has a mental or medical condition or a substance…
