I’ve got one too. 2015 though. I read the article really only because I noticed the headlining picture was of the inside of an SS.

So, based off what I experienced when I bought mine in September of last year:
Its worth it though. I bought a new 2015 SS in September on last year. It’s an auto, so gas guzzler tax. The dealer had had the car sitting on their lot since the last week of February of 2015. They wanted it off their books. Car had like 28 miles on it, as they wouldn’t let any joe off the street test drive it.…
Well that’s some horse shit.
If you spend the 50k asking price on one of those, you need to go back to car-buying school. Anything more than 45k, and you haven’t negotiated enough.
Eh, unless you want the bi-modal exhaust feature, there isn’t enough of a difference between 15 and 16. Yes, 16 has a slightly different front fascia. They also deleted several entertainment related features in 16, and inclued one of those kazoo pipes that funnels in engine bay noise to the passenger compartment. Find…
Not if you get a manual one. No Gas guzzler tax there. Mine is an auto, on long freeway drives, it realistically averages about 26 MPG. City? Meh. Who cares lol :-)
Yes, but you should find an SS and sit in it, then go sit in an impala or malibu. Hell, make it an LTZ impala ot malibu. The fit and finish of the SS and overall build quality and engineering is MILES ahead of anything else GM sell for under 45k in the US.
Anybody that watched the GIF and didn’t make airplane noises as the car was flying through the air is lying.
I laughed. I’ll see us both out...
The Phillips LED light bulbs are 3 per customer on Amazon :-(
So, if you are only after the bulbs, you can add 3 to your cart for about $9, but it will require another $16 of stuff to ship, thus effectively raising the price of each bulb to $8.33.
BUT, if you are already buying something on amazon, its still a good deal.

#5 is the Ford Escort
No tire kickers. Right rear just needs a top-off. Pay for your own air at the gas station.
I’m going to say that that should be the COTD.
Nope, more like a state making something ‘unlawful’ for the sake of protecting low-paying jobs.
Ugh, I didn’t even make it that far. Watched Star Wars (4, 5, and 6). Made it half way through Return of the Jedi and fell asleep. Time at that point? 10:20 pm. I decided the new year had hit half the country, so that was good enough.
Correction, you aren’t supposed to pump your own gas in Oregon.
I actually lol’d when I read gord/Foogle thing.
And the 202 freeway, the one that is all curvy on the right side of the picture, was built that way to break up all the other straight lines. Most of it is in flat desert. The road could have been as dead straight as the 60 (long straight one going through most of the image from the right)
Someone up higher said SLC because of its grid system. Well, you should try driving in Phoenix. It uses the same grid system, with roads that are just as wide, if not wider. Only one half of the city is pictured above, the other half is exactly the same. And, its a metro area with over 7 million people. Accident on…
