I get the impression this is being sold alongside the legacy Switch (and Switch Lite), not replacing it.

I got a PS5 at launch. I bought Demon’s Souls, tried it and said “Wow, this game is fucking hard” and went back to playing games on my PC. Going to pick up Rachett and Clank this weekend probably.

I am an avid Apex player (I rank Master/Diamond depending on how much time I feel like putting in a season) and I cannot drive that point home enough.

Or is Gawker Media as afraid to take a stance as well?

Apex Legends has a cheater problem also. It is really bad in the higher ranked tiers.

I am in the Amazon Luna early access. Thought I would try it for a few months for fun. I think it would do OK if it was included in your Prime membership, but paying $21 a month (which gives you access to the Ubisoft library) is a steep ask.

When I was in college, I tied a mattress to the top of my car with a garden hose. Best part was I had to jump thru the windows to get back into the car :P

It is just the “hot” console to have right now. Unlike gaming enthusiast, which is a small fraction of the gaming community as a whole, the average person could really care less if the Series X is more powerful or has a better game selection. The optics of owning a PS5 right now, whether for bragging rights on IG or…

I think the CDPR we have grown to love died the minute they went public in 2018 and had to start answering to shareholders and investors. This is why Cyberpunk was released in what was seemingly a mid to late beta state. 

I drive to Microcenter once a week on Wednesday morning. No luck on a 30XX Series yet, but they did have a new Radeon 6700XT in stock.

I got a PS5 day one. I must have used up all of my gamer karma for it, because I have yet to get my hands on any 3000 Series RTX. At this point, I am just happy to have my GTX 1080 which is selling on eBay for the price I paid for it in 2016.. 

I think TF3 is inevitable and they will even go as far as bringing some (or all) of the legends into it. Apex players have more in common with Wraith than they do with Cooper.

EA set up TF2 for failure when they released BF V the same week. BF V had WAY more marketing and hype.
