Your list is accurate.

Most people who own a PS4 wont switch to XSX. Likewise, most people who own an XBone wont switch to PS5.

I would think the vertical setup would be better for cooling...

It honestly looks like to me they engineered the shape for maximum airflow (that GPU and CPU are going to run hot) and designed the aesthetics around that.

Apple has enough cash in reserve to shut down operations and give every employee a 1 year paid vacation.
