His argument would be much more valid if the DC movies were accurate reflections of who these characters actually are. I honestly felt that the Justice League movie was a solid step in the right direction, and while it was far from my favorite superhero movie, I found it enjoyable and fun.

My only concern is that, what if you put in an order, and then never pick it up. Will the shop be on the hook for that? I’m not saying this would be a regular issue, but I could see around big events having people order a ton of a title, and then decide to not go pick it up. Some small shops run on very slim margins,

Wizard!

Agreed. Fan’s must rise up and demand more Lando!

Can we just all admit that no one wants a Solo movie?

They got rid of his water weakness after Crisis on Infinite Earths. He did have long hair in for a while, but currently in the comics has a shorter cut, depending on the artist.

Here’s the thing. Dark sci-fi and fantasy clearly has an important place in our story telling traditions, but it can’t stand alone. If all our visions of the future are overwhelmingly hopeless, then what’s the point?

I’m sure I’m in the minority here, but I hated Unbreakable. I really don’t get why it get’s so much love. It’s just a generic superhero film with characters I found fairly unlikable and unrelateable. The plot is weak and idiotic, and adds nothing new or interesting to the superhero genre. If people love it, great. I’m

Completely agree. I miss hopeful sci-fi. I understand that times are tough, but sci-fi for me was always about a message that, while things are bad now, they will get better. As much as people like to crap all over human progress, we are moving forward. Slowly, painfully, and with many backwards steps in-between, but

I’ve been reading both Batman and Wonder Woman for years, and I hate absolutely everything about this. We’ll set aside the pressing, but important point that both of them have long term relationships, with both Wonder Woman currently on again off again but mostly on again dating Steve Trevor, and Bruce with Selina,

Reminds me of how in early America, lobster was served to prisoners because it was cheap and considered sub-par food. Personally I don’t care for much sea food myself. No sea bugs for me.

No dairy at all. I’m not vegan, in that I eat meat, but milk is always gross.

Before anyone gets grossed out about this, take a moment and think about the first person who drank cow milk. What was that guy’s deal? He sees a giant, hairy, horned beast in a field and thinks “I want to drink from it’s nipples!” And not only that, but he convinces everyone else to do it too?!

You made me laugh good sir. We’ll done.

Completely agree with all of this. I do not understand the hate this film is getting. I didn’t think it was perfect, but I had a good time and felt that the choices made in it were completely believable and natural. I get this Luke. He’s Obi-Wan, but he feels even more guilt because he blames himself for Ben’s turn.

You know, I know some people are giving the film crap for a lot of these reasons, but I really liked the film mainly because of these. I get that some people were unhappy with Luke not being the dashing hero, but come on, what did you think was going to happen? I mean, Luke says it himself when he talks about going

Just came home from this and I completely agree. I also felt the Finn plot was totally pointless, just an excuse to have Phasma show up for her totally-not-but-yeah-completely-Boba-Fett appearance.

It’s funny, having seen the film, I honestly wanted to see more Whedon than Snyder. I feel like the villain was pure Snyder, and could have used more Whedon. The smaller, more character driven conversations were frequently more interesting to me than anything else.

I mean, I’ve already seen Snyder’s trinity. I’d much

I’m probably still in the grey on this site, but what the heck. I love cranberry sauce, and I make it from scratch every year. Yeah, you can make it with just berry’s and sugar, but I play with it a bit and it is much better. I make mine with 2 bags of cranberries, 1 cup of raw sugar, and one cup of orange juice. It’s

I’m really enjoying this series, and I really look forward to where it is going, but I was disappointed in the ending of the issue. SPOILERS!!!!!!!!! It felt wrong seeing him do something evil at the end with Clayface and mind control. I wanted to see the author go all the way with really setting up a positive take on
