Honestly I don’t disagree with you. I heard the interview on NPR, and he laid out some very believable and serious issues this could help with. Plus, any extra money we put into space makes me happy.

I feel that stooge is the wrong word. Reminds me of Larry, Moe, and Curly. They were more respectable ;-)

I’m really hoping that LC 2 brings in Iron Fist, and a Heroes for Hire mini comes from it. I really feel like both characters are kind of lackluster on their own, and balancing them against each other, with a solid supporting cast, would be more interesting. Iron First is obviously a weaker show, but even Luke Cage

I agree, but my original point was the sales slump is why they are going back to the well with this retread of the Deadpool murder spree.

Punisher kills the Marvel Universe was, oh god, so lame. I’m glad I read a copy from a friend and didn’t pay for it myself.

You might want to check their sales. They have been in a huge slump as of late, especially compared to rebirth from DC. This is why Gabriel came out a little while ago to claim it was diversity that was killing their sales. I admit I am not as avid of a marvel reader as I was at one time, but the regluar Marvel guys I

Meh. The first one was fairly sadistic and unfunny, so I doubt this will be much better. Marvel really seems to have lost their way as of late, and this just feels like another trip back to the well to try to get some cash.

Looks like they drew them themselves.

This looks like something an angsty teen would draw in a notebook. How do you set out to have a serious conversation about race relations and fear in America, and have it illustrated by a 13 year old?

Agreed. This looks like a fun movie to kill an afternoon with. I’m not really sure what all they expected from a Jumanji movie. The first was was goofy fun, not deep, intellectual stimulation. This film could be a worthy spiritual successor.

I agree with a lot of others here, that this looks like fun. Stupid fun, but fun. I like the cast, and I like the concept. I’m curious to find out how they connect all this video game stuff together.

Is Barb a popular character? I mean, I watched the show and didn’t think too much about her, but I keep seeing posts that rave about her. She complains for a few episodes and then dies, and no one seems too upset about it. Did I miss something?

What honestly matters the most to me is that they actually get the message of the book right. This book was not about censorship, at least, not in the way we think about it. It is not about a government that comes in and imposes censorship, it is about a population that actively wants to be kept in the dark because

Everyone is arguing about a female Doctor or a non-white Doctor, and I’m just over here like “Can’t we just keep Capaldi for a few more season?”

If you get the chance, watch the film with West and Ward’s commentary track. It is amazing.

Honestly, I’d rather watch this show all day than the Burton or Nolan Batman films. DC has tried so hard to get away from camp, that they have lost so much of what made these characters fun. Batman: Brave and the Bold was such a treat comparatively because it just owned the goofiness and celebrated it. Batman 66 is

That almost made me cry. Bless you.

I met him twice and he was always kind and happy to see his fans. Never a frown or a complaint. He was a true gentleman, and I’m sad at his passing :-(

Wow, thanks for the huge spoiler there! Seriously, no attempt at not ruining this moment? WTF?!

The thing is, if you watch the show, I mean, really watch it like I have, it’s actually very pro-feminist. Yes, it is hopelessly mired in its own era in many places, but at the same time it is also very forward looking. WW never acts like anything other than a proud, amazonian woman. She brushes off come-ons the same
