Hell yeah water rights! That’s the kind of real world issues the kids get excited about. Look out! He’s filing a cease and desist order...with a vengeance!

I have a new drinking game. Every time Io9 posts a story about this app I take a shot. I’m pretty wasted right now. Woo, Pokermons!
Considering how many candidates already cosplay as blue collar workers, respectable family/religious figures, or competent human beings, I don’t see the problem with one who cosplays as Harley Quinn or Psylocke. If anything, she seems more honest with who she is than they are.
Lot has a few things going for it. Don’t get me wrong, it was not a great show, but it did have a few perks.
Just comparing the animated universes DC wins. JLA, Batman, Batman Beyond, Brave and the Bold, Superman. It’s funny how the definitive Marvel characters seem to all be portrayed by real life actors playing parts, and the definitive DC characters seem to all be animated. Best Batman, Superman, Joker, and on and on.
In all honesty, they have not had a good animated show since X-men. They tend to gear them to a too young audience, or go the other way and make them so dark Zack Snyder gets aroused.
I think Netflix makes great shows out of Marvel characters, but Marvel animated series have been really hit or miss. What I like about Flash is the same thing I liked about Batman: Brave and the Bold. Campy, out there, but a lot of fun. I might cringe at the stupid choices a character makes on the Flash, but I…
It’s the beautiful irony of the thing. Marvel has a better cinematic universe, but DC has a better TV universe, especially if you count the DC animated series. Both could learn a lesson from the other, but as long as people pay money to see things, it’s not going to happen.
Carter was probably my first crush as a young lad. Used to watch reruns of WW all the time. Probably explains my interest in the art of Frank Cho as well...
Agreed, especially the Toyota. The worst thing about it is that it is overly reliable? Um, yes please.
Her daughter, Jessica Altman, is a dead ringer for her younger self. Having Jessica play Wonder Woman in that universe would be an amazing touch.
From what I read, they took a straight forward prequel, and then mucked it up because they thought it would be better if it was vague and confusing.
The lack of character development for the majority of the characters. The strength of the original Alien movies was the fact that the characters were well developed and memorable. I remember the android, being an unexplained psycho.
Well that answers that question. Good on you for owning up to your secret shame ;-)
I didn’t ask for the first one, let alone a sequel. One of the first movies in a long time that I remember having a viscerally negative reaction to.
Wait, there were fans of this series? But, why? Did they actually see it?
Also, best Batman movie ever!
Why are they cooking tomatoes in a waffle iron?

So, I just read through Flashpoint, with gun toting, criminal murdering Batman, and I’m shocked to say that Aflex’s Batman is actually more brutal and psychotic than the Batman designed specifically to be more brutal and psychotic.
I enjoyed the first one, and am looking forward to this one, but come on Bay! Stop living out your pervy fantasies through Megan Fox. A schoolgirl outfit? Come on!
