Me too, which is why it is a shame how he overused them and made them from a nightmare foe that was almost invincible to one note gag bested by a mirror.

I'm not a hardcore Moffat hater, but some of the things he has said as of late, and his seeming contempt for the fans of the show has started to grate on my nerves. I don't think a producer should just give the fans what they want all the time, but to be so dismissive of so many big issues to fans as he has been does

True, although sadly both were better than Time-Flight :-(

Moffat has a lot of nerve saying that the Master's story is done and implying that the character has nowhere to go, considering how he has overused the bejezus out of so many of the Doctor's other foes! Remember when the weeping angels were a threat that couldn't just be beaten with a mirror?! Not to mention how the

Perhaps the Doctor's greatest foe is not the Master, but the Moffat?

Yes, we must return to a time before public education, when only the elite were taught how to rule by private tutors, and the lower classes were taught to keep their places. We should return to a time when soap was considered sinful and disease was spread through bad smells.

What's also interesting is that teaching seems to be the one field where experience counts against you. Do you want a new surgeon? A new lawyer? A new mechanic? But a teacher with experience is labeled a liability and a problem. Very unfortunate.

We'll just throw cat photos at them for a while. That tends to mellow the internets.

I'm curious as to where you got you understanding that most teachers are happy with the current system. I can assure you that the educators I work with are, almost universally, opposed to the standardized test system we are forced to endure, and understand and loathe how it kills the potential for deeper thought and

The deep and broad comment was in regards to my specific subject area, English Literature.

There is very little discussion of students, and a good deal on teachers. Teachers are failing, not students, according to this article.

"This means debate and discussion based on considerable knowledge – something that is almost entirely absent in the educational world."

Defending Aquaman? Outrageous!

Wow, I've not met anyone else who knows about this book. I actually read it through and let me tell you, the ending is total garbage. No spoilers, but I deleted it off my Kindle after I read it and have never looked back. An interesting idea with lots of potential, but just the most stupid ending ever.

I cannot unsee that.

I was told there would be ice puns...

The Question.

I loved Jonathan Strange& Mr. Norrell! How can you even pretend to have read it? It is so complex anyone who had actually read it could spot a faker in minutes, plus it's just a darn good book.

Spoiler, it's not a Dalek! It's a Quark!

I see what you did there. Well done.
