I thought Bullseye 's only had broken bones replaced with Adamantium ones, not his whole skeleton coated? Also, wasn't it the healing factor which allowed Wolverine to survive the process in the first place? Lester doesn't have a healing factor? Also, why am I confused about logic in a Marvel comic? ;-)

All I know if that whenever they switch off his healing factor, he starts to die because his bones don't produce red blood cells. Laced or coated, there are some serious problems with bones that have metal in them.

Bullets? You guys are crazy.

Anyone else flashing to the outfits the people in the capital wore in The Hunger Games?

Not sure if anyone saw it, but the Nostalgia Critic did a review of A.I. that looked really closely at the ending as well as at the forces behind the movie. After watching it I felt much less animosity towards this movie, and actually saw that it did have some positive aspects.

Geek Voice: Um, Cap's shield is a combination of Adamantium and Vibranium, it is it's own unique mixture. Adamantium came first. It was not an attempted recreation, thank you.

I agree completely. Memorization is a valuable tool, but it is not the only tool. We have to internalize information to truly be able to understand and appreciate it, as well as to control it. However we also have to work into this the understanding that the best way to memorize is not just to be given a list and told

First, I'm not sure what you mean by memorization. I understand and agree that just memorizing a bunch of facts that are not placed in a larger context may not be that valuable to everyone, but I would disagree that learning and understanding information and internalizing that knowledge is incredibly valuable and a

You can read my previous post, but we are not getting better at searching for them. We google our questions instead of figuring things out for ourselves. We don't attempt to learn, we attempt to find, repeat, and then forget. Memorizing knowledge gives us power over it. Not going through the steps, not taking the time

The problem with your analogy is not that knowing the names of all the capitals is particularly important for everyone, what is important is the process which you went through to memorize those capitals. In that process you learned how your mind works, what helps it remember, what it enjoys learning and what it

Am I the only one who thinks they should just go ahead a change the name to the fantasy channel? When was the last time they actually had science fiction that was actually science based? Between ghost hunting, giant monster movies, magic beings, and all the other fluff on this channel, they might as well call it a day

I completely agree with the idea that specialized intelligence in specific fields, particularly those rated by an IQ test, are not and should not be our only focus in increasing human intelligence. I know several people who have very high IQ ratings, including one who is a mensa member, who severely lack empathy, as

This is a great point. The problem is that, while we have access to this information, we have used it not to grow, but to justify not learning things. I have heard more than a few people, especially of the younger generation, who do not see the value in memorization or internalizing detailed information because they

Well, it just means we'll have very realistic Tralfamadorians.

Vonnegut's works have been adapted several times before. Personally I hope this turns out more like Mother Night, and less like Breakfast of Champions :-/

It has aliens, but also deals with time travel, PTSD, the firebombing of Dresden, and a bunch of other social commentary. It's a very good read.

Ship? What ship? Does anyone see a ship here?

Anthony Misiano's joker is the best I've seen

Is Chevy Case coming back? Please say no.
