This is a very valid point. However, when I was in high school in the 90's I never had an English class where we read this, or Fahrenheit 451 or Brave New World. I actually picked them all up one day at the library and read all three of them in same weekend.

Yeah, that boggled my mind when I first read it. It is such a critical chapter, how can it have been omitted? Because people were unhappy with it having the moral it had. For the land of the free, we can be darn close minded!

A valid point, the question though, will always be, at what point does the replica brain stop being a perfect mimic, and become truly self aware? And ultimately, could we ever really know?

This is a very cool article, and fun to think about. The sad part about all of this, though, is that NASA does not have the money to get us to Mars while we speculate about how to get to the edge of the universe. Maybe we need another cold war? I'm looking at you Canada...

The problem, of course, is that while we may be able to upload our minds into a computer, we still have not figured out how to accurately replicate all the chemical, biological, and emotional forces that impact us. We are not just a collection of memories, but instead memories that are constantly rewritten,

I think the loss of the final chapter of A Clockwork Orange is a huge problem with the film. The entire point of the novel was really encapsulated in that chapter in a lot of ways, and by cutting it out you get a funny and satirical ending, but one that also completely misses the point.

What worries me is the effects that this has on the dolphins as well. As the article states, they suffer rather severely over time from being kept in captivity. If a puppy will do, I would rather my child spent time with that than a wild animal held against their will.

This is an excellent article. It is so important nowadays to work at debunking this pseudo science, especially in regards to something like autism, which we are still struggling to understand. Thank you for writing it and publishing it here so everyone can read it.

Well, only time will tell. Hopefully it will not only entertain new fans, but also make them curious about the other shows that came before. We will see.

Well really I miss the old Batman: the animated series. Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed many iterations of Batman, and actually liked Batman Beyond, which was a radical departure in many ways. However, with a re-imagining, one thing I look for is how other characters can be translated.

I agree about the costumes, but I actually would like a more mature version of Batman. The comic does not pull punches, and has gotten quite dark as of late. It would be nice to see that translated to a prime time show. Too late for the kiddies, but perfect for the adults.

I'm not saying they can't bring in some smaller characters like Prof. Pig (who I was not a big fan of in the comics, but whatever) but it would have been nice to see at least one or two familiar faces to at least give us some idea about how these classic baddies would be used/ animated.

Sigh...walking towards the camera is so mainstream. So is walking away from the camera.

My response to this decision: ugh

Does it worry anyone that not only are none of the classic Batman villains featured in this trailer, but we also get no clue as to what Batman's voice sounds like?

I know some people have voiced concern over the quality of these older episodes, but honestly I feel like, having watched all the Troughton and Hartnell that is out there already, even the worst episodes will probably have some genuine moments of awesome. I think both Hartnell and Troughton did an amazing job with

Can't I be someone less tragic...like anyone else?

Which is sad because it is better to face an unhappy truth in science than to cling to a false hope.

I'm not sure why so many people in the article seemed unhappy with the multiverse theory. To me it actually makes a good deal of sense, and would go a long way towards proving and disproving various other hypothesis about the origin of the universe and life itself. I also find it funny how many people were saying that

I...don't know what that means?
