Matter-Eater Lad?
Matter-Eater Lad?
How sad is it to soar so high, only to be buried in a shallow grave by Guy Fieri?
I have no clue, I doubt they’d ever release what money goes into whatever part of the production. Off the top of my head, I’d say it might be for voice acting (those celebrity voices probably don’t come cheap) or some of the copyrighted stuff they use.
I don’t necessarily mind Revelations (I like that it seems to take visual inspiration from the 200x version), I take more umbrage at the upcoming CGI reboot that looks garish as all hell.
I like the franchise but TBQH, Mattel is far too attached to the original canon that it should be. At least Hasbro manages to…
And its done with only a fraction of Family Guy’s budget.
I want a skeleton monster who speaks in morse code by clacking its jaw together.
Out of curiosity, I typed in John Oliver Andrew Yang and there’s the “Yang Gang” whining that Oliver was pushing Asian hate against him.
Moviebob had a very good episode talking about the making of the Eternals, their connection to the Ancient Aliens pseudoscience and who each of them are and what might the movie entail. It helped me understand a lot of the lore.
The top thumbnail made me think this was a trailer for the Venture Bros movie.
I feel bad about this cancellation because my aunt was a big fan of the show. Her questionable tastes in entertainment aside, she does like the really quirky weird superhero stuff like the Netflix Umbrella Academy. I might try to get her to see Doom Patrol sometime, I bought a bunch of episodes awhile ago.
I’m not trying to quote Tropic Thunder, but no one should be going in full Ennis considering his more edgelord shockjock tendencies.
Are we sure this fits the idea of camp? Because an over two hundred million dollar movie with five screen writers doing something this insulting stupid doesn’t sound campy.
It makes me think of how Nostalgia Critic rips off “Be Kind, Rewind” for his no-clips reviews, but because he’s an incompetent and abusive asshole,…
Remember when Dawn of the Dead had that evangelical preacher on tv that was just spouting bullshit, but it wasn’t serving anything related to satire or mockery?
Wait, was that part of the movie? How do you make Area 51 monsters take over Vegas and make it boring bullshit!?
When I watched the first trailer, it game me some classic Amblin vibes, like this was something that could’ve been made back in the 90s or so. I only read the first volume of the comic a few years ago and I think I’ll try to give this a watch.
It was Nick Rewind a while ago, part of a marathon of old Nicktoons to promote Paramount Plus.
Sometimes I think they could’ve had them as elementary kids in a sort of all-ages version of Home Movies; Tommy as the director, Phil and Lil being the SFX artists who specialize in the gross and gory, Angelica always insisting on being the lead, stuff like that.
Plus, the show didn’t feel “let’s explore the lore and characters we’ve spent a decade making”, it was much more like studio mandated teen sitcom which was redundant when Nick already had As Told By Ginger.
but she was Angelica’s foil, what’s the point of regressing her a year?
I thought gay garnish was just when Neil Patrick Harris guest starred on a tv show?
