Wes!

At least it's an open top - less cooling problems than the N24...

Now playing

They've got a new theme song in the works...

This is big, but not really a massive leap in length, as it's only 10m longer than the previous record holder, the 458m Jahre Viking.

Sounds interesting. I'll rip a copy, transcribe the lyrics, and distribute them in Braille.

@Evil the Cat: It was the successor to the original Scirocco. Just wait...

Why?

Kobayashi seems to be the exception in a long line of terrible Japanese drivers...

@Dhaman: The Bale/Nolan "batarangs as distraction" seems to be the most accurate, unsurprisingly...

The way the light seems to converge to a point in the winning entry gives it a bit of a UFO abduction vibe...

If they decide to sell off their assets separately, I might have to break open the piggy bank...

@grifdrm5: In that specific example, yes, CFL is better on balance - but that's not true everywhere.

@slashduck: You're assuming that everywhere has a summer cooling cost. I'm Irish myself, and no one here, or pretty much anywhere across Europe has AC.

@slashduck: The Canadian National Housing agency did a study comparing a house fitted with CFLs to incandescent bulbs, and found that in their particular test scenario, in winter, the energy savings from the CFLs were almost completely cancelled out by increased heating costs.

"To save energy (and power bills) Americans are turning to compact fluorescents."
