@stoke 2.0: The completely out-of-place sound is the best thing about that car. Cant beat a mid-90s F1 V10...

Coming a close second in the horrific modifications category are those Malaise-era bumpers. WHY?!

@Mojonaut: It's designed by Mercedes - do you really think they want another elk test incident?

@skulldriveshaft picasaweb and youtube: There is that, but the whole thing just works. The effects are great, but don't overshadow the plot, the characters are more than one-dimensional, and some scenes, like the standoff in the showers are just perfect - camerawork, acting, and directing are all spot on.

Sorry dude, bit late.

The video clip is from the episode at the Volkswagen test track in Germany - why would they borrow a car in London, then drive through two countries to get to a track owned by the manufacturer of the car?!

Brakes on a Toyota.

At least he managed to pull the spare fuel tank out with him, and protect it under his fireproofs.

I think he just noticed that his accelerator had been stuck for the past hour, and was trying to scrub off some speed...

@laylaholic: Wait - was I just starred for the sole purpose of having the shame of being unstarred? I didn't think my humour was that bad... :/

@86LX5.0: Typical American, thinking you have the world monopoly on racism...

Is it possible to launch a car into an apartment? Attempt 1 was a failure: [jalopnik.com] but the second time round, it worked a treat.

@Rupunzell: Can't argue with that - there's quite a few XJSs running around with Chevy 350s under the bonnet.
