Just downloaded it last night, played through the surprisingly tough Dr. Loboto (tutorial) mission, and had a blast. Felt like just yesterday that I finished the first game, not 16 years. Kudos to Tim Schafer and the entire Double Fine team!

That was a terrible minigame. Made doubly terrible by the fact that I was playing through X during a very depressed time in my life and I distinctly recall wasting several entire weekends trying to hit 200 dodges. I don’t think I ever got much higher than 120.
Genuine question - acknowledging that this new policy could lead to a slippery slope of privacy erosion, what alternative technologies could Apple implement to help fight CSAMs that would not elicit such concerns? Is the only alternative to not do anything about CSAMs on the tech / platform front?
We should all buy this and ship it over to the UK so Techmoan can review it. :)
The various pieces of the dystopian future envisioned by Steven Spielberg in AI are slowly coming to fruition, including “flying cars”. Since it’s probably unavoidable, I say we enjoy the tech-laden downward spiral.
So on the desktop front, basically the same features that Dropbox and Onedrive (and probably many others) have had for years... Man, Google really does suck at everything but search and ads.
I’ve found it a bit helpful to move my self view to the left side (close to the camera), which naturally helps focus the eye contact. But yeah the portrait camera orientation still sucks.
Stop infringing on David Tracy’s trademark
Please stop doing this. This is click-baity, disingenuous and misleading. This kind of “journalism” only serves to de-legitimize real climate change reporting and mitigation efforts.
I feel your pain, and I like the “idea” of smaller phones. I bought the Unihertz Jelly on a whim (smallest modern Android phone in the world?) and have a modestly sized Pixel 4a as a backup burner. But honestly I’m getting old and my eyes have a hard time reading stuff on the smaller screens these days. I decided I’d…
It’s $9.99 on Steam if you can’t find your old PS2
I never thought this day would come. Psychonauts is one of my favorite games of all time. Can’t wait to play 2!
PC port for Personal 5 please. Pretty please?
I really don’t understand why someone like Nissan doesn’t just import these things with their own badge. They would sell bushels of these at $25k a pop, not to mention increasing traffic into showrooms and owning the “affordable off-roader” niche all to themselves.
You’re right. Biden sucks. We should totally have re-elected Trump or nominated a progressive candidate who would have gotten stomped by Trump in the Blue Wall states. That would have been MUCH better for the environment.
Tesla’s QC bullshit would make me a lot more leery of SpaceX if it wasn’t for the fact I know THAT company is run by real engineers and adults like Gwynne Shotwell, and Elon is just glorified mascot.
So we get this instead of the new Land Cruiser? Cool, cool. Us Americans probably deserve the punishment.
That laser seems fun, but honestly the other stuff seems incremental at best. And the anti-hair / tangle features have been done well in other, much cheaper vacuums. If people are looking for a fantastic stick vac (albeit corded) they should look into Shark’s ZS362 Apex model. I’ve owned 2 Dysons before and this Shark…
This is obviously a personal thing, but I REALLY hope they get rid of weapon breakage in BotW 2. It really ruined the experience for me in BotW 1. I know a lot of people like it and/or got used to it, but I put in 40 hours and could never get comfortable with the mechanic.
