You know that Hobby Lobby DID pay for birth control until 2 years ago, right? And that their retirement plans invest in the companies that produce the drug?

Must be nice... in this economic climate many people (including myself) have to choose whoever is willing to employ us to keep a roof over our heads. Not a lot of choice going on for many.

Your President('s Twitter account) is feeling a little cheeky today.

The discussion was brought up because the OP equated this situation that involves sex trafficking with Belle Knox. The reason people are having such a discussion is because that person decided to equate the two. People are having a discussion about it that pretty much makes your point, as far as I can see. Thanks!

And now we have reached the point in this discussion where we agree! Healthcare tied to employment is ludicrous. But as long as it is... back to original point.

The failure rate of condoms in preventing pregnancy is at least double the failure rate of hormonal birth control.

I do pay for a portion of my insurance. My employer covers the other portion of my insurance as part of my compensation. And I also pay a copay for birth control because the brand that works for me is a name brand that my insurance has deemed is not included in the ACA mandate.

Free? Do you understand how insurance works?

Do you really need me to explain this to you? First of all, if I am receiving insurance through my employer (which is the heart of this case) I have already paid for it in the form of hours worked. Health insurance is part of my compensation. Why on earth should my employer get to include caveats with my compensation?

It is definitely at the top of the list. What's more important than self-determination?

You are wrong. Hobby Lobby is not a sole proprietorship or partnership company, they are legally a corporation, which separates their business from them personally.

Yeah, you should buy all your meds without using your health insurance plan too. Oh, itdoesn't matter that your paying into it in order to use the benefits. Too bad your company doesn't decide that [insert whatever chronic medical condition you may have here] makes you one of Satan's minions and denies you access to

Abortion pills? To quote you (again), rly?

Not to mention the implication that ladies are first and foremost to be GRACEFUL.

Who was it who said that if men could get pregnant abortion would be a sacrament? Truer words were never spoken.

One of my friends on Facebook that's talking about this the most is a 30-year-old, straight, white, cisgender man (and he's posting the best trolling stuff, too, which I love). I would love to know what Greg would have to say about that.

That's what makes this so crazy! "Feminists" who "majored in screaming" don't represent a small group of people. ALL of my female friends and relatives used contraception when they were fertile or are using it now to avoid pregnancy (a a fair few use it to control ovarian cystic growth). The small group of people in

No grace involved in this, just shrieking.

And can you just imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth that would occur if 5 feminist women were the ones who got to make that decision?

We're not hysterical, motherfuckers, we're homicidal.
