That’s what I’m hoping here. The seller made a typo on the listing 😆

That’s a very nice $1,500 car.
Dude, tell me about it. I’ve never been out of the greys after YEARS of commenting on this board, none of which was inflammatory. I don’t even understand how the mechanism works.
My last couple of dealer experiences have been ok. I know the sales manager at the dealer that I generally use so that process is pretty straight forward. Not a fan of the finance people, but I’ve just been upfront with them and that seems to cut the paperwork BS down to about 5 minutes of unpleasantness.
That said,…
Bingo, some once commented on here about how when they went to look at a Stinger GT, the salesman had no idea how to “sell” them the car. Just kept on pushing a bunch of insane financing.
I’ve never dealt with them but they’ve obviously earned a bad reputation with their dealerships. Haven’t heard the same thing about Hydundai, maybe I’m just out of the loop but it seems that they should want to put a stop to their child company from being assholes to potential customers.
Problem is, that requires a lot of cooperation between all buyers. Financially savvy people aren’t buying right now, those are the minority though.
1st gear: supply chain bottle necks, labor shortage, logistics bottlenecks, and inflation... this is just the beginning of the economic hell that we face if the government doesn’t stop paying people to stay home right now. It is crucial to the survival of the country that we increase the labor force participation…
If they want $10k over MSRP, I’m asking $15k over KBB for my trade then. Otherwise, no deal. Luckily I’m not in the market for a car for the foreseeable future.
KIA had a chance to change their imagine with the Telluride. They could’ve offered excellent service and had repeat customers for years. Now instead of being known for cheap ok'ish cars they'll be known for decent cars but sleezy ass dealerships.
I applaud Kia for attempting to muscle in on the “making short term decisions that seem good now, but let Toyota eat our lunch in the future” turf that has been owned by the former Big 3 for so long.
Seems like car prices is the easiest to change, especially for buyers. Stop buying at markup and the dealers will realize they aren’t selling any and see that “market demands” won’t buy markups and lower back the price.
I almost bought one of these in 2006. It was a 1995 850ci, black, and the asking price was less then than the price here.
That’s a lot of coin for a used cell phone case.
I’m not familiar with the market for these, but an auto with potential storage issues seems ND @ >$10k
There are other 8-series Bimmers to be had on the ‘Bay with similar use in similar condition for thousands less.
These things were everywhere when I was a kid. As I grew up, these started fading away, but you still saw some, just more beat up, little things like the trim, the pinstripe, the hood ornament, the hubcaps. As an adult, these are more or less gone but you still see a few rusting away here and there, once in a while…
No mention that this is just like Max Cherry’s car in Jackie Brown? For shame.
“worst Will Ferrell movie”
