Somebody’s gotta anchor the Consumer Reports ratings- why not jolly old England?
This is data dating back to about 1990 when these things were just hitting the used market. they’ve never once lost value, and as the supply of them dries up, the demand dictates that the price rises accordingly with the market. Something about Adam Smith and invisible hands, it’s all mumbo jumbo
Not out of a $5000 truck, you can’t. Try me.
You clearly haven’t priced these trucks lately. This is a fair price for one that’s in better condition than most. This is NP.
The amount of crap on this car is mind boggling. Crack.
You’re right. In 1982, this car cost $6,773 brand spankin’ new.
Chrysler CrossPipe
Can we also mention the absolutely terrible photography? Low angles, high angles, in direct, reflecting sunlight? Upside down pictures? I still don’t know what the car looks like from the ad. They might as well have not included pictures.
Give it a rest man, he wants his tabloid fodder, and he wants it where he’s already reading. Clearly he’s not getting out much- it’s gotta come to him.
I am the one who knocks.
To my mild amusement, I learned that “Clackamas” county is not a fictional location.
Given that this was posted 15 days ago and still for sale, and this is at least the second time it’s been posted... I’m gonna go with crack. Who’s the market for this? Enterprising Uber driver with a sense of humor? BMW-head who wants something no one else has?
I honestly could not care less if it’s a POS. I would never buy one, because I don’t want one. I can think of many, many better ways to blow $25k than an ex military vehicle.
I also do not care what you think about the vehicle- it’s not for you, move on. Your sanctimoniousness regarding the environmental aspects and…

Take your pick. This one, if it’s redone and rebuilt, is probably worth that price- but you can get one in about any configuration you want for less
You have fundamentally misunderstood Nice Price or Crack Pipe. The game is not “Would you buy this car?”. The game is: “Is this a fair price for this vehicle?”.
While the answer is still crack pipe, it’s not for any of the subjective taste reasons you listed.
Rule #2 is that anyone who votes NP has to provide justification and receipts
It wasn’t a rust joke. Chryslers are both unnecessary and suck
I see two unnecessary things there- both of ‘em chrysler!!
Weak point of any car = holes. Who wants unnecessary holes in their car? You got two windows.
