Sold, this guy^

I understand the divide between the fresh-off-a-3y-lease cars and new being not much, monetarily, believe me. The market for trucks right now is insane.

I also understand the rationale behind keeping a car into the “good years” of ownership, but it’s just shocking to me with this particular vehicle. Even 4.5 years in,

It’s a Civic with a pretty “A” badge on the front, broski. If you’re delusional enough to think that it makes the difference, then this is the car for you

I don’t know your situation, but financing an entire car for that period of time seems reckless to me. There are no cheaper options you can pay cash for? Not even a down payment? Are there two incomes at play here? Talk to me, because I’ve got a bottle full of not-swallowable-pills here.

Or don’t get a fuckin 6 year car loan? That says to me that you can’t afford it.

No

They look fine. It’s a 15 year old Honda Civic. It’s not a collector item, they’re econoboxes.

Nah, I looked at CL. The two MTs I found had 180k and 209k miles and were going for $4000 and $4500. It’s worth 5-6k. Next.

To be fair, 112k is a modest amount of miles for a 15 year old econobox. Every comparable I found on CL had 200+ pretty much. The price is the sticking point for me. Otherwise if I lived any closer than 2000 miles away, I might even be interested in a to-work-beater

Those cars were $21k MSRP in 06, optioned out. You’d need to be on krokodil to think it was still worth nearly half that, 14 years and 112k miles later. I want the people on this post who vote NP to actually have to purchase the car. That should be the rule. Accountability, folks

Fuck no. Try $6000. At most.

I’ll need to see proof of purchase on my desk by Monday, and also the state you’re titling it in, so I can stay off the road.

Comparables I found with MT had 200kish miles, but were $4000 and $4500. I think $5500 is a fair price for this car in the shape it’s in

Yes, negotiate down about $3500 and you’d have a nice price. Crack at anything over $6000

In 2006, this car cost $21,753 at full retail price. Now, 112k miles and two owners later, it’s worth half that much? A civic isn’t collectible, and never will be.

It’s a Nice Pipe. The car is great, i’m sure, but it’s worth about $5000-6000. Nice Pipe, Crack Price.

It better come with free candy, free ice cream, AND no bloodstains to warrant this price. CRACK

Plum’s close enough to Indigo, stick them on

PINK IS A TERTIARY COLOR, NOT ALLOWED

Splitter covers must be some hideous non-complementary color, this is MOPAR law. Since this car is baby puke green, red would normally be your complementary option, so we need to turn the color circle 90 degrees, and that gives us Indigo or Orange. Your pick.

See, it’s a Gambler 500 Survivor now. Isn’t that the cool new buzzword for shitty cars that are halfway to the crusher?

Still a pipe. Two of them, in fact. PVC.
